Do I like Pho~?! For real? Is this even a question?

I LOVE PHO~!!! I mean, I really do like Pho a lot.

My favorite dish is Naeng Myeon, which is Buck Wheal Noodle served in Cold Broth, which I think I can have three to four times a week.

If you have been in Korea for awhile, you will notice that the Pho spots here are not that great.

There are couple franchised spots and non-franchised spots but I have not found The Spot that turned me on.

However, a friend of mine from work recommended that I check a Pho restaurant called Mi-Boon-Dang located in Shinchon.

I live in Gangnam area and Shinchon, to me is a bit too far for me to travel for a Pho. At least, that's what I thought.

But one day in early summer, I met up a friend of mine and for some reason, decided to check out that Pho place.

When I had the first bite, it was amazing and I had full on respect for the restaurant owner for bringing a proper Pho in Korea.

Yesterday, before falling asleep, I started having this craving for Pho and I just could not let it go.

As it was Sunday today and had some time to relax during morning.

So, as soon as I got up, I took care of my agenda, showered and went straight to the restaurant.

I arrived at 10:50 AM ish as the opening hour was from 11:00.

When I got there, there were already people waiting in the line.

I was like... 'They know what's up~~~" LOL~

Above is the operating hours. From 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM

If you like soft tendon Pho, make sure you get there as early as possible.

The soft tendon seems to be limited and they do run out towards the end of the day.

The menu is as above picture.

I thought it was funny how they had their menu inside the restaurant as we are to order from Kiosk outside in the line before getting inside the restaurant.

I guess they could be for any additional orders but have not made any additional order until now so I do not know for sure.

* FYI, I am not sure if they got English version of menu but I am sure one of them or the people around you would be able to help.

The inside of the restaurant is rather small but they managed to decorate their interior so it would have everything that we needed to enjoy pho.

From left, it is box of tissue hanging upside down for easier access with diffuser on top.

I like the Pho smell so I am totally cool with it but some may need diffuser.

To the left, we got the oyster and sriracha sauce. I do not like the sriracha sauce that they serve in Korean pho restaurants so I brought mine.

The last one is the bottle opener. The place is not exactly for beer but of course, is still needed for coke and 7 ups.

BAM-!! I could not Not Order them wings.

I tried it for the first time but from now on, that is on my list for sure.

It was two for 2,500 won. Yes, the price is a bit expensive when compared to the wing nights at some spots in Itaewon but it was worth it.

Pickled peppers. Let it burn your tongue guys~~~!!

Wait, didn't you hear that from somewhere on Youtube?

Yes, if you like food and like to lift, you probably heard it from Quang Tran's clip.

You all need to check out his clip. This guy is amazing~!!

Yeah, I am thinking the same thing too.

LOVELY-!!

Yes, the pho here is pretty large in portion, meaning that the meat served is more than the franchised pho restaurants in Korea.

For noodle, it's regular... too small for me. LOL

Another shot of this beautiful bowl of pho.

Close up on this beauty. Wooo~~~ She's so HOT-!!

Can you see that soft tendon? I saved it til the last. It was worth it.

Please take the first sip.

Here is the first bite with my sriracha sauce on top.

After this shot of noodle with sriracha on top, I just went at it.

I could not wait any longer. No more photos. It was just me and my pho.

I finished my bowl in five minutes and so I ordered one bowl of noodle.

The extra noodle is free. Honestly, my second bowl was the better one as for the first bowl, I took way too much time taking pictures.

By the time I started eating it, the noodle was a bit too overcooked.

I killed it. I wanted to drink all that soup but I was going to church right after.

I didn't want to fall asleep during service so I had to stop myself and get up from the table.

As I was about to walk out the door, I realized that I did not take the photo of the restaurant.

So, here we go. It's small but very cozy.

If you turn left from the restaurant and walk like 20 seconds, there is small corner on the left and if you walk in there, there is this restroom.

It is small as you can see but got everything you need with compact design.

Well, I wish I could go there again soon.

Hope you enjoyed the post.
